Planting season is kicking off with an EPIC community planting day - this is an annual family-friendly event!

About the event
Let's celebrate our Mum's by planting native plants she can admire for decades! This will be a chance to connect with whānau, neighbours and our local environment.
Meet at the pump station at the Northboro reserve (near the playground). The easiest entry is through the Northboro Rd walkway between 41 & 43 Northboro Rd, but there are many ways of access depending on where you come from - you can also bike or walk along the green route. Keep an eye out for the RTH flag & big group of enthusiastic people!
The event will finish with a nourishing lunch of soup & bread, and we encourage bringing a plate of kai to share.
Dress responsibly with closed-toe shoes and warm clothing! If you have gloves or a spade, feel free to bring them along - RTH can provide these if needed.
